Thank you for taking the time to learn more about ACBC Consulting!

ACBC Consulting is led by Founder & Principal, Andréanne Chu Breton-Carbonneau who chose to embark on the journey of consulting after seeing a gap between justice in theory and equity in practice in municipal departments and social service organizations alike.

"I have found that while many community practices recognize the importance of justice for health, for climate, and for the communities they serve, they are unsure of where to start or what more they can do. That is where our team comes in!"
ACBC Consulting works closely with our clients to equip them with the tools and resources to build the community systems and social infrastructure necessary for building social resilience and health equity. Through community-driven approaches we have supported clients to shape healthy neighborhoods, center climate justice, and design equitable social services. We specialize in making justice theory clear and helping our clients apply it to practical solutions. With our guidance, you can feel confident and secure as you navigate the often-uncertain path of leading in this area.
We also understand that justice research and policy change quickly, so we are always learning and growing. In fact, this is why Andréanne is currently pursuing a Ph.D. investigating the intersection of health equity, urban planning, and environmental justice at the Barcelona Lab for Urban Environmental Justice & Sustainability.
We are here to empower community leaders to tackle the tough but necessary challenge of growing social resilience and bolstering their health equity practices. If you are ready to make a difference and need support along the way, please reach out to us! We can't wait to work with you.

"The climate crisis is an amplifier of our society's dysfunctions"

Our Mission
We guide community leaders to improve long-term social resilience and reduce the risk of exacerbating health inequities for just, resilient, and healthy communities.

Our goal is to provide clarity and instill confidence in our clients as they embark on the path toward health equity.

Our Vision
Our vision is pretty simple. We hope to restructure the community practices from health equity as an add-on to health equity as the default.

Community members are at the center of this vision, leading the way to more accessible and justice-driven communities.

Our Values
Supporting a culture of care
We are a feminist group with values of support, care, and personal development at the core of our interpersonal relationships.
Centering justice-driven approaches
Putting justice principles into practice externally within service design and delivery and internally within our business practices.
Practicing humility
We have a willingness to learn, are open to being wrong, and will always take accountability for our mistakes.

Demonstrating reliability
We offer reliable, honest, and trustworthy services for our clients. We also strive to be reliable, honest, and trustworthy leaders for our team.

Creating accessible content and services
We aim for clarity and simplicity of services, information, design, and language.
